In winter there is a ski path leading directly to the ski area and for the way back you can take the electric shuttle. The cross country tracks and the toboggan run pass the Ferieneck Hohnegg®. End your day of doing winter sports with a tasty Swiss fondue in the cosy fondue hut next to the hotel.
Situated amidst a scenic hiking area, the Ferieneck Hohnegg is a great base for long and rewarding hikes or shorter walks during the warmer months. Afterwards you can treat yourself to a relaxing massage or just sit on the sun terrace and enjoy the view of the majestic 4000 metres-high mountains.
Travel information
Arrival by train:
- From Zurich and Basel in less than 3 hours and from Bern in less than 2 hours via the new Lötschberg tunnel.
- Switch in Visp to the yellow post coach running every half hour to the Saas-Fee bus-terminal
Check-in your luggage at your local Swiss train station - and we will get it for you from the Saas-Fee bus terminal.
Hohnegg’s electric shuttle:
Upon arrival we will pick you up at the car park or at the bus terminal and upon departure we bring you back - free of charge.
